    Before I picked my current VPS, I made the mistake of not testing latency, and it turned out to be terrible for my users. I’d recommend checking out HostZealot. They have a Looking Glass tool on their website that lets you test ping, traceroute, and speed from different data center locations. It’s really useful for making sure you’re choosing the best server region.
