    It is possible to repair a RAW drive with CHKDSK (in case of minor issues) or data recovery software (DMDE or TestDisk). Formatting should be avoided because it deletes data. At the forum, your colleagues will advise you on how to fix the file system or even recover files prior to a reformat.
