  Mercantile Adjustment Bureau keeps calling me, but they shut down years ago?

  I’ve been getting repeated calls from a number I looked up and it traces back to Mercantile Adjustment Bureau in Williamsville, NY. Thing is, I found out the company closed years ago. Now I’m worried this is either a scam or some successor trying to collect on an old debt I don’t even recognize. They call at weird hours and won’t send me anything in writing about what the debt is. Has anyone else dealt with this?
