  Tips When Buying New Doors for Your Home

  Hey everyone, I’m currently looking into replacing a couple of doors https://www.flipkart.com/building-materials-and-supplies/door-and-window-fittings/doors/pr?sid=b8s,8dw,a3g in my house and wanted to share a few things I’ve learned — and maybe get your input too.

  First off, I had no idea how many types of doors there are: solid wood, fiberglass, steel, composite… each with their pros and cons. Solid wood looks amazing, but it’s pricey and can warp with humidity. Fiberglass is super durable and energy efficient. Steel is secure but can dent.

  Also, don’t overlook the frames and hardware. A quality door won’t matter much if the frame is weak or the installation is sloppy. I’m also starting to realize how important insulation and soundproofing are — especially for interior doors.

  Have any of you replaced doors recently? Any tips or brands you’d recommend?
