I followed a roadmap from an article called “From Paper to PDF: Transitioning to a Digital Filing System” which I found at https://www.open-web.info/ The biggest tip was to stop the “bleeding” first by using Free Online Fax Services so new documents arrive as PDFs immediately. Then you can slowly chip away at the old cabinets. The guide really helps with how to name your files so you can actually find them later. It takes some time, but once you’re paperless, you’ll wonder why you waited so long to make the jump!
